Thanks!
Go you! Doing a PhD application nearly ended me.... interview next week excitedly dreading it 😂
😂
She could have stayed relevant by owning her own bias and leaning into new schools of thought.. benefit of hindsight etc Genuinely baffled me! I thought thats what research does? Asks questions and builds on that 😅
That article annoyed me immensely yesterday. Especially that it was in TES as well. Totally agree, it gaslighted women and their experiences. Also thinking and science moves on as we learn..very strange take 🤔
I wasn't sure either initially but glad I stuck with it. It is very funny (and a bit dark). Just finished it and as a Belfast woman living in Donegal near Derry the humour definitely tracks 😄
I miss the time before privacy disappeared. Have teens now and feel so sorry for how they dont have the same freedom to make mistakes in the same way as previous generations without the threat of someone having a recording device at hand.
Surely the job of Justice Minister requires you to be pretty sensitive to people, given a lot of people you may meet will often be in the middle of the worst experience of their lives. Proving how deeply unqualified he is for the job.
Autism Central is England's Peer Education Programme, commissioned by the NHS and delivered by Anna Freud. There is a photo of a Black mother and child hugging and laughing. The text says one of the services of Autism Central is free one-to-one sessions with a peer guide, for anyone supporting an autistic person.
Looking for trusted support and practical resources for those who live with, work with or love an autistic person?
Visit #AutismCentral for information, guidance, and tools to support autistic people of all ages and their families.

Couldn't agree more. Kids enjoy great stories from actual writers, just like the rest of us. Not really sure why they need celebrity? Pretty sure none of mine would even know who Rob Brydon is.
Picked up your Halloween book recently, kids loved it!
Mandelsons fingerprints seem to be all over this questionable deal with a very problematic company. More scrutiny is needed as concerns from BMA and GPs appear to be dismissed or minimised. Where is the governance?

Ah right, I thought Turnit in was just for plagiarism didn't realise it looked at AI too.
Huge implications for students etc though if true. Other half is in academia dont think a lot of unis are using any programmes to spot it yet like they do for plagiarism.
Sorry Aslynn, I don't know anything about this. Interesting though 🤔. I'm more of a only use AI to try and find out how to get rid of AI on my devices kinda person 😆
Ah sure it wasn't your fault. Knew it wasn't you so thankfully no hassle came my way. Sorry you and others were targeted x
Ah jeez that's awful. Saw your lovely face on the awful bio when they followed me. Blocked and reported. Glad to see you back 💚

Turning a blind eye to US shenanigans at Shannon Airport cannot be permitted to continue. Rendition flights were such a dark and shameful part of our history. #spéìrgorm

Petition to sign, if you so wish:
Merlin, who operate theme parks such as Alton Towers, apparently decided that autistic and ADHD people don't count as having real needs, and are no longer eligible for their usual ride passes if they find queues impossible.

Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

www.bmj.com/content/392/... Autistic girls & women: By age 20, they were diagnosing pretty much equal numbers of men & women.
Huge study, whole population of Sweden born 1985-2020.
Not 1 in 10.
Not 1 in 4.
Not 1 in 3.
Equal numbers, just about.
100 years of research, most based on the wrong info.
