I went to AMC because I got gifted a "free movie and popcorn for two" coupon for Christmas
still ended up paying $20+ for it, including $9 of bogus "service" and "convenience" fees.
Mario movie was decent. Not really much you can do to adapt mario, but they did a good job at doing what they could. Cool to see a lot of cameos, seems like there's at least some people who played the retro games on the team that made it.
Would probably not watch again except for background noise.

i will say, i never really got into rpgs, but i've been slowly chipping away at south park, the stick of truth. i'm probably going to play the fractured but whole at some point.
but this is a few days out of the week thing now, as opposed to every day for hours upon hours a day.
its weird to say it, but gaming has lost a lot of its joy for me
i get too frustrated gaming now. it doesn't provide the same dopamine boost it once did.
i guess this is growing up. i find more joy going to shows and hanging with people irl than playing a video game and talking to/behind a screen.
