I laid that game down so quickly after finishing the main story for the same reason oh my god
The grind to craft TMs or do Raid battles to get special ingredients for those sandwiches was not fun and just made me stop playing, especially since I didn't even enjoy exploring the map of this game

Oh my god that's exactly what I just thought and posted at the end of the thread...it's just a cheap trick to make you play the game longer and hide that it barely has any actual substance

Maybe it's just me?? Like I'm sure there are enough people that love having ALL of these options in a single game...but I don't know, to me it feels like a cheap trick to force people to spend way more time in a game that doesn't actually have as much to offer as it claims to be.

And honestly, I think this OPEN WORLD-trend is a huge problem too. The majority of the time we get a vast, but ultimately empty-feeling world and honestly, I'd rather have smaller, but thoughtfully designed separate areas again that actually offer a sense of fun exploration and progression.

Don't get me wrong, I love having my own home base in a monster-catching game that I can decorate, just like in Pokemon RSE/ORAS, but I'm perfectly fine with PREMADE options to choose from instead of investing 3+ hours of harvesting and crafting materials to get a chair that I want!!

I feel like your game loses its identity if it tries to be too many things at once, not to mention if all of these gameplay mechanics are mandatory for game progression and you're forced to do repetitive chores, turning everything into a grind instead of getting into the meat of the game...

First Palworld, now Temtems newest project and the highly anticipated "Aniimo" too, which I was a brief beta-tester for. Everything is an OPEN WORLD multiplayer-combat/crafting/collecting/farming-simulator now and I'm sorry, but the amount of game mechanics is simply overwhelming.

Hey quick question, why does every monster-catching-game now need to be Minecraft and a farming-simulator too? 😭 Can we please go back to a game being ONE thing and not EVERYTHING at once?? I'm fine with a cozy home-base, but I really don't need to build up eVERYTHING MYSELF FROM SCRATCH, PLEASE

You watched it TWICE?? How can you endure so much masterful cinematic pain and sorrow twice in a row in ONE WEEK 😳
