We further showed that RENBP inhibition can significantly improve the metabolic labeling efficiency of azido-mannosamine in APCs both in vitro and in vivo. Our study provides a facile approach to improving chemical tagging of APCs for the development of APC-targeted immunotherapies.

We found that murine and human antigen presenting cells (APCs) such as dendritic cells, macrophages, and B cells tend to overexpress RENBP. This could partially explain why azido-mannosamine exhibits low labeling efficiency in APCs.

Injectable extracellular vesicle hydrogels with tunable viscoelasticity for depot vaccine - Nature Communications Extracellular vesicles (EVs) play a critical role in mediating intercellular communication, but the poor tissue retention of EVs has limited the efficacy of EV-based therapies. Here, the authors repor...

Happy to share our recent work on Extracellular vesicle hydrogel. Now hopefully researchers in the EV community do not have to worry about the minimal loading efficiency of EV into a pre-formed hydrogel. Instead, one can use EV itself as a building block for hydrogels.
