We further showed that RENBP inhibition can significantly improve the metabolic labeling efficiency of azido-mannosamine in APCs both in vitro and in vivo. Our study provides a facile approach to improving chemical tagging of APCs for the development of APC-targeted immunotherapies.

We found that murine and human antigen presenting cells (APCs) such as dendritic cells, macrophages, and B cells tend to overexpress RENBP. This could partially explain why azido-mannosamine exhibits low labeling efficiency in APCs.

Happy to share that I have been promoted to Associate Professor with tenure. Grateful for the tremendous support from my students, collaborators, colleagues, and friends in this journey! My lab will keep the good work going and try our best to contribute to the research community.
We show the promise of EV hydrogel for depot cancer vaccine, but can certainly envision diverse applications of this technology in the context of different diseases.
Happy to share our recent work on Extracellular vesicle hydrogel. Now hopefully researchers in the EV community do not have to worry about the minimal loading efficiency of EV into a pre-formed hydrogel. Instead, one can use EV itself as a building block for hydrogels.
