The Swalwell story not only rings true but is backed by so much sourcing that anybody refusing to accept it has no objective truth nor rational belief system

there are so many consequences of everyday people not really understanding how journalism works and people on here thinking there was some sort of massive media coverup of Eric Swalwell being a monster fundamentally is rooted in total misunderstanding of what real reporting requires.

I sincerely believe i would have a shot at winning all 50 states in a presidential election running on the single issue of making it illegal for businesses not to have conspicuously displayed customer service numbers that lead to call centers that must be staffed by humans

Sorry but it’s time for Congress to return from vacation. No rest until the WW3 threat is over.

The #1 reason the US has eroded its own position of relative hegemony in MENA is because when it comes to countries that are not either Israel, the GCC, and Turkey+Jordan+Egypt, the offer on hand has historically been "Take our deal, or we'll kill you, and also the deal is we kill you".

I'm no fancy politician, but if I was a member of Congress and the President (the guy with the nuclear codes) was ranting like a madman about killing "a whole civilization," I would end my vacation pretty quickly

Any republicans in congress feel like "A whole civilization will die tonight" might cross your own personal line? No? Hm.

A few have suggested that some aspects of this mission--joy, international teamwork, diversity--are being played up to stick it to the hateful attitude of the administration. But I don't think it's that. I think it's just that those things are essential to and inseparable from a mission like this.

Gonna cost us a thousand dollars ($500 each) to fly from New York to Chicago for a wedding this summer. Thanks, Donald Trump!

Points to the soundtrack team for playing Kissing the Lipless, a song I did listen to nonstop in 2008 (but it came out much earlier)

Spotted: Health department grade at a cafe in a scene that takes place in fall 2008. Letter grades weren’t launched in NY State until 2010.

I just need to talk to the wardrobe people on Tell Me Lies. I have yet to see a single Threadless tee or Urban Outfitters going-out tunic on a show that is supposed to take place in 2007-2008.
