for something like this, it makes sense for it to be overly permissive and allow the reader to decide that how some software uses gen AI is fine, than to be overly restrictive and not inform the reader, essentially making the judgement for the reader and not giving them a choice

at least according to the stated intention, it's just meant to give information to let you make your own informed decision, not to tell you something is slop and you shouldn't ever use it
