From Jimmy Savile to Peter Mandelson, Sir Keir Starmer has proved he is the most clueless man ever to have entered high office. Here are a few highlights of his long history of career-enhancing ignorance.

I lived for 20 years in Nazareth, the biggest Palestinian Christian community inside Israel.
From there, I wrote this piece on how Israel has spent decades slowly eradicating the presence of Palestinian Christians from the birthplace of Christianity: www.jonathan-cook.net/2020-06-07/e...
Israel completely destroying your home – with all its history, family heirlooms and memories erased – is "bittersweet", reports the Guardian.
There is no better Party than the Greens.
You can actually see the moment Ed Miliband thinks, what's the point burning through whatever political credibility I've got left energetically defending a man who's going to be gone in a matter of weeks.
Didn’t they take in the Nazis escaping war crimes? Must be a thing for those South American countries.
"You're just voluntarily complying with this whimsical cosplay" -- holy shit, Tim Kaine is *demolishing* Russ Vought
Pope Leo XIV: Jesus told us, blessed are the peacemakers. But woe to those who manipulate religion and the very name of God for their own military, economic, or political gain, dragging that which is sacred into darkness and filth.
Please don’t forget Gaza.
Israel is still bombing and murdering Palestinian civilians while the world is distracted.
The Covid 19 vaccine roll out was an extraordinary feat which may have saved upwards of 475,000 lives.
In the face of a deadly virus dedicated professionals worked hard to make it happen and millions did the right thing and took the jabs.
That's to be celebrated.

Why was Rishi Sunak allowed to do this?!
The Guardian has decided to showcase 2 letters from senior doctors who don’t support strike action.
Where’s the counter-point in this, @guardian? I am hearing from lots of consultants who wholly support the strikes. www.theguardian.com/society/2026...
It’s funny how politicians bleat on about market economics and the need to be competitive, but all of that stops when it comes to public worker pay.
They need to get real - we’re losing doctors to countries overseas where the doctors are paid better. It’s as simple as that.
Just read a thing saying doctors worked harder in 2008 than they do now. As someone who qualified in 2010, I can’t speak for 2008. But there’s no way I worked harder back then than resident doctors are working now.
Who do you think absorbs NHS pressure at the moment? The staff.
… guess who’s going to see your mum at 4am in A and E? Guess who’s going to go home with a racing heart because they didn’t have enough time to properly listen to their patient?
… it won’t be the politician who has national media outlets on speed dial. It’s the NHS staff.
This does seem to be quite a sensible idea, doesn’t it?
Baffling that some people think otherwise.
Still so chuffed with the hard-right being handed their arses on a plate.
What a way to start the week.

Why is the Labour government preparing a crackdown on protests against the illegal war it’s enabling – and the cost-of-living crisis it risks fuelling – instead of acting to stop people struggling?

So Israel refuses to do what Iran asks. Stop murdering innocent Palestinians, Yemeni, Syrian, Iranian and Iraqis. Stop annexing parts of countries that do not belong to you. Most of all, reduce/disarm your nuclear weapons capabilities and we will do the same.
That’s more or less it.
The first American leader of the Catholic Church has fiercely criticized the war in Iran, deepening tensions between the United States and the Vatican.
Ordinarily, I'm opposed to war, but if Turkey were to follow through on its threat to invade Israel, I would support it 100%. It would be one of the most just wars in human history.
One elderly man was arrested while using a walking stick and an elderly woman was carried away as the crowd chanted "shame on you" at officers. One woman was such an extremist she made a peace sign as she was dragged into a police van.

It’s ok to be anti Palestinian though right?
When it's political. To some extent.
But this isn't political.
Political is more tax v less tax/free Healthcare v paid.
This is freedom v oppression.
Every human should stand up against oppression.
Especially those with a platform.
