Some shots from the 2004 online auction where the third Buran orbiter was for offered for sale on allegro (iykyk)
by mid-1976 (or 1978) that final configuration (305-2 - right)) was approved, succeeding OK-92 (center), so if the model is of OS-120 (left), the configuration is out of date by 3 years. it could also just be based on the Space Shuttle shape, which by that time already had the short OMS pods
and again the model in the NPO Molniya museum, showing a similar livery to the mid-80s illustrations of the almost final orbiter design
ok sorry for the chaos, there might be something to this model after all. it does seem to be the same model as in this photo of Pilyugin and Lozino-Lozinskiy dated 1978
