FBI agent Denise played by David Duchovny and Dale Cooper, played by Kyle Maclachlan, Twin Peaks 1990
David Duchovny played a transgender woman, Denise, on Twin Peaks in 1990 and when greeting Cooper, the show's protagonist, she says, "I prefer Denise, if you don't mind" and Cooper responds with "OK" and her identity is settled within a couple seconds and was a non-issue, 36 years ago.

A painting in acrylics of a leopard seal hunting a gentoo penguin. Both animals are underwater. The penguin is on the right side of the image, swimming towards te viewer and to the right, almost out of the frame. Behind it is the leopard seal, its mouth open, in hot pursuit. It has made a turn from the left to the right, so its body is in a curve upwards to the right. The bottom of the sea shows brownish green rocks and come rea grass. The water is drawk, with a slightly lighter surface, with lots of bubbles and foam.
Finished!

Cardiff will be the first UK city to introduce a surcharge for oversized SUVs and trucks, "while very large vehicles – those over 3,500kg – will be excluded from residential permits entirely."
I'm a bit torn here bc the Labubu guy actually IS an indie toy designer, I saw his stuff at like WonderFes a decade ago. So he's not like say, Funko shit- So Labubus is one of the better fads because one of us made it big
But also he's probably plenty rich by now (I hope so he deserves to be)
INKTOBER DAY 4

Yes, I grew up with these cartoons!
Denni, a golden retriever with a sweet face, sits and looks up at the camera with a smile. she has a passenger clinging to her back. a baby koala. the joey's eyes peak over the top of Denni's head.
Denni is standing and looking off to the left of the frame. the baby koala on her back looks at the camera.
a super zoomed photo of the baby koala and their mom high up in a tree. the adult koala holds onto her joey and looks down at the camera with what we would like to think is appreciation for caring for her baby.
This is Denni. She took an unexpected babysitting shift when she found a baby koala in her yard. She cheerfully delivered the joey to her human, who put them back in the tree to be reunited with their mom. 14/10 (FB: Steve Lamplough)
"History teaches us that atrocities do not begin with action; they begin with imagination, with the suggestion that some lives are worth less, that their removal might even be merciful."
New in the "it was a terrible idea to use the same numbering system in new flats in the other wing of a building" : just had a family knocking on the door coz they'd rented my flat for the weekend. 🙃
At least there's lots of easily accessible transport! Fingers crossed everything stays ok and you still manage to have a good time! 💕
Ah shit, sorry to hear its disrupting plans too :/
Tired of hearing 'we need immigrants to staff the NHS & care homes' - as if we're a servant class.
Newsflash: immigrants do a variety of work, pay taxes, buy homes, raise families. Britain doesn't 'need us to serve'. We're here to live. Like you.
