Just left the Federal Workers Rally at the Arch.

People are hurting — jobs lost, livelihoods shaken — but what I saw was strength, unity, and a deep belief in something better.

That gives me hope.

I didn’t get into government to watch public schools get defunded, voters silenced, and unconstitutional laws passed.

This week alone in Missouri:

— Schools underfunded again
— A voter rights rollback
— Unconstitutional gun laws revived

We have to do better.
