Yes, I’d agree that my work is for the ceramics world, not the general public. I’ve never tried to make work for the masses as I think that’s impossible.
I think we only get people to like and appreciate art through a Societal shift. We are too focused on showing others what we like or think, and don’t actually think deeply- really deep- about what those images and objects evoke and mean to ourselves.
