Spectacular day!

Have the lawn furniture arranged. Sitting in sun with a fence blocking the wind.

Cleaned/raked my back gardens. Cleaned the birdbath and it didn’t take the birds long to find it. So happy! Love to see the little ones have fresh water. Watch the video posted!

My family and I spent five days in Quebec last week as part of our Canadian spring getaway. Three days in Montreal (saw Lady Gaga) and two nights in beautiful Mt. Tremblant. Poutine. Skiing. Family. Shopping. Concert. Dinners. Lots of laughs.

Lady Gaga killed it Thursday night at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Blown away by her artistry and her entire team. Loved The Mayhem Ball! What a superstar she is and that voice live is next level. 12/10!

Yours truly in a rare elementary school photo. I am the tall kid on the left. I am not tall so this must have been a growth spurt. I am still very much that kid who loves being outside, looking for seashells, and my friends. Some things never change. Grateful for those days. 🏠🥹

I recently received this lovely handwritten letter from a reader: “I also enjoyed the introduction and [reading about] your battle with Lyme disease. And then your closing with the death of your father and your vigil by his bedside.
What does one do without family? Rely on little acts of kindness.”❤️

I would certainly hope not. Having grown up nearby, I have spoken to many area residents who have watched a family of 2-4 of them for years. Let’s hope the respect continues.

I fed an albino squirrel today.

You don’t get to write that often, if ever. Thank you, Universe, for our beautiful parks and animals and all the lovely people I spoke to today whom I had never met before but who were all genuinely super friendly and smiling!

It was a blustery day for celebrations yesterday but we four braved the storm for an evening of wearin o’ the green, libations, great food, and company.

Grateful for these ladies whom I have known for years.

Love you, all. We had a ball and solved a few world problems. ☘️

Happy dance! Our deck is now free of snow for the first time in months. I swept today. And we still have furniture outside. So after work I set up my Easter tree and read my friend Jane Doucet’s new novel which comes out this spring! So grateful to hear the melt and the birdsong.
