Our latest insight from Account Managers Matthew Dawson and Katie Davies explores what the results mean for Labour's strategy and the future of net zero policies. They outline some of the key differences between Reform voters on the environment and look at the big upcoming tests for the Government.
Last week, just 10 months after entering Government, Labour suffered a shocking reversal of fortunes in Runcorn in Cheshire, as well as in council and mayoral results across the country. Reform UK, meanwhile, has emerged as a major new force in British politics 📈

We had the pleasure of learning about this during our visit to nature restoration site Harold's Park Farm last week, where the brilliant Nattergal team are encouraging natural systems back to their glorious, diverse selves 👏
Do you know what a Ghost Pond is?👻
It's an ancient pond lost to in-filling, drainage or agriculture. Ghost ponds can be home to an abundance of endangered species.
If brought back to life with care, nature conservationists can find themselves with a phenomenally biodiverse aquatic environment.

At Seahorse, we love to show up and support these pivotal moments for our clients!
The Government promised an end to new licences, yet their lawyers have been in court defending further drilling on a technicality, despite the harm to the climate and the marine environment🐠
Today marks the final day of @oceanauk.bsky.social's vital legal challenge to the UK Government over North Sea oil & gas licences🌊🛢️

🚨HUGE ocean moment! @oceanauk.bsky.social takes the UK govt to court today over its reckless approval of new oil & gas licences🌊🧑⚖️
Oil & gas fuels the climate crisis, harms ocean wildlife & chains us to decades of dirty fossil fuels.
