As another Virginian, I've even used the word 'unsettling'. Republican ads using Obama's and Spanberger's words out of context made a simple issue difficult to understand,& unable to navigate. And yes, MAGA is grossly lurking. We still have lots of work to do

A skinny and sober couple came into Burger King and asked if i would buy them food. I said yes. They ordered two meals and ate it all, said thank you and left. I may be gullible or not but it cost $14 to maybe help somebody. Thoughts?
Whether they were dealing with unfortunate circumstances or not, asking politely for someone to buy your lunch would be both humbling and difficult for most people. Paying for it without offering an objection was the kindest thing you could've done. Thank you for that. Don't look back.
