Interesting would be the best way to put it. I would have to try a few more blocks to get a real feel for it and have an opinion.

2 sheets of white hosho rice paper lay on a desktop with one overlapping artistically. Both have a print of a black circle depicting a greenman. The print was made using a relief printing method used for lino block prints. The sheets of paper are 6" x 9".

The block that was carved and used for the greenman print is displayed on a black cutting mat with a grid pattern. The block is a clear circle, approximately 4 to 5" in diameter. To help it show better in the photo, a piece of white paper has been placed under the block but only halfway so some of the black cutting mat is seen through it.

Another new print I made this month. Experimenting by carving onto a clear lino that were pre-cut into circles. Was inspired to try a greenman as a roundel.

POTS person here: If you feel woozy, dizzy, or tingly even with drinking water, your electrolytes are probably off.

High sodium can fix it for short term. Think Pickle Juice, V8, or even just one of those tiny salt packets. Then work on other electrolytes like Potassium and Magnesium.

Recovering from getting my submission turned in for guild standards review for the Craftsmen's Guild of MS (have to do this every 3 years until I've been a member for 10 years, then can apply to be a fellow.) Here's a new block in progress. Still some carving to go before I can print.
