If you've not watched the 1967-68 series 'The Prisoner', please do so (particularly if you're a fan of Severance). When you've finished, listen to 'The Tally Ho' by 'Time for Cakes and Ale' ! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/t...

ICYMI: Ben Chandler is spearheading the next internal WEG project. We aren’t close to ready to formally announce what this thing is yet, but you can follow along with his dev logs here:
THE HALF MAN (kindle or paperback)
"a gloriously OTT occult comedy-thriller that has echoes of films like 'The Old Dark House'. Bloody entertaining fun."
"Great fun - a mix of Dennis Wheatley and Sam Raimi"
"it’s an absolute ‘blast’!"
"Ribald, surreal and really funny"

I can't say anything but 'superb and surprising' right now because I'm still midway through my second playthrough, this time with my partner. Considering how long we've been together, it's still so fun to see what his choices wind up being!
I don't track adventure games as much as I'd like, and missing this before it was funded troubles me in too many ways. Posted a link to this previously. Let's continue to encourage the Posel Smrti (Black Mirror '03) prequel! And devs incorporate some humour, this time, pls. youtu.be/o-JVozayNes
Some Severancy vibes in Old Skies--loving that, of course. Didn't think about the alternate selves inherent to time-travel as analogous to Innies and Outies until nearly halfway through playing. Good thus far.

#Severance has the brought us not just the TV show but also the highest quality #fanart since Lost. We desperately need @benstiller.redhour.com to hire Ron Gilbert and whoever made this to bring us a game, so we have something to enjoy during the long hiatus.
You deserve any celebration imaginable. Rosewater was so very worth the wait--raise that glass! ✊✨💖
L'histoire centrale by René Magritte (1928); a woman, her face covered in a cloth and clutching her throat, stands behind a tuba and a suitcase.
Le Principe du plaisir (1937) by René Magritte: it's a portrait of Edward James, his London landlord/host/patron, with his head totally obscured by a bright light.
Le plaisir by René Magritte: a young girl, wearing a white lace collar and cuffs, bites heartily into a bird, getting blood on her hands and all over her collar. There are other, unbitten birds on a tree behind her.
When I lived in a top floor flat Saint Gilles, Brussels, I took a lot of photographs of the skyline from a west-facing window: this one is of fluffy white clouds in a bright blue sky, over rooftops and chimneys. It's a very Magritte sky.
Finished a biography of René Magritte last week & now keep seeing Magrittes everywhere: in Cattet & Forzani's REFLET DANS UN DIAMANT MORT, which I saw for the 2nd time today; in Lucile Hadžihalilović's LA TOUR DE GLACE; in the photos I was downloading from what's left of my Flickr photostream...

And if you're a patron, you are never, ever, ever disappointed.
Not being comped for this (apart the satisfaction I derive), but if you love Severance (as well you should, bygods), go and fill the void with Severed. It's not just a podcast, it is an adventure delivered by a rightfully obsessed pro! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/s...
Just wanted to say, 'Hey!' I'd intentionally slowed down on a lot of social media, online stuff in general so didn't know about your alias change! (I used to be skeevy_wonder). Awesome to see you're still streaming! 💖
Incidentally, the author is the main writer behind the Broken Sword series (I wouldn't have guessed this).
I've not seen mention of Johannes Cabal... well... anywhere. But it is a book series with a literary slice that betrays this verb with its texture. You just have to read it. Hilarious, bizarre, horrific, introspective, yet evenly-written magickal dieselpunk.
Give ‘em hell, Harvard.
What a finale! Cannot wait for what Mr Milchick brings next series...
Harley sits in an office. She is telling the person behind the desk, “We’re going to look for Dr. Bennett Clark’s missing fortune.”

Oh! Helena is doing the same thing as Helly H.

Echo chamber: 47 percent. I get it. The book is OK... it's just that I've become rather accustomed to these blueberry muffins, and I just don't know whether I should use a concussive or an IED--it's all so bewildering.
