Soon these will be ready to be bumped up and potted into a larger space. Thank you to everyone who donated cuttings and helped us root these! We can't wait to get them out into your yards in a year or two 🌱

If, like me, you've ever sought refuge from the summer heat beneath an outstretched live oak tree, or marveled at our tough native mountain laurel trees after a February freeze (or been delighted by their purple, grape scented spring blooms), you know the importance of the TreeFolks mission.

In a few years, these babies will be ready to go in 5-gallon pots and be distributed back into the community through our NeighborWoods program 💚

The NeighborWoods program is a partnership between the City of Austin Government and Austin Energy 🌱

Our tree list for tomorrow's tree adoption event is live! Trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit 2 per household (maximum one fruit or small-stature tree). No pre-registration is required—just come on by. Make sure to arrive early to take home your dream tree!
