First of all, I speak with my hands A LOT! I get so engrossed in my work that I find it hard stand still and follow a script which did lead to a rather comedic throwing of my script on Saturday!

Day two of the conference complete! With some excellent panels and speakers, day two was completely filled with some amazing papers on Privateering, Methodology, Naval Violence, Representations of Violence on the Stage, and England's relations with her Neighbours in the Late Seventeenth Century.

Day one complete of the Conflict, War and Violence in the Early Modern World conference! Had some very insightful talks covering a variety of topics! The day finished with a fantastic talk from Professor Mark Stoyle followed by a walking tour of the city walls! I look forward to tomorrow!
