Rolling charts are always amazing, but ESPECIALLY right now

They're due!
It's a line we all get to repeat every April.
Those sweet sweet rolling charts can help! It's a bad stretch for Naylor, but we've then them before and everything turned out fine.
At this time last year, Logan O'Hoppe, Tommy Edman, and Wilmer Flores had 5 HR and Kristian Campbell was a top-20 hitter.
This 10-12 game sample and a random 10-12 game sample at any point in the season are not different. One is not more meaningful than the other.
One of my biggest takeaways from the weekend? You can still run like crazy against the ChiSox. Activate your Marlins speedsters this week.
Nixing RBI hurts some of the pure power guys as it was a place they got a key advantage. It also takes away a key weakness for leadoff guys or on bad teams.
SUPER fats and loose but J. Duran, Rooker, and Reynolds come to mind as guys who move up. Elly, Caminero, and Machado move down.
Well we do have an auction calculator and live draft assistant at Pitcher List for members!
Otherwise, there are two things you use a free auction calculator, like the one at FanGraphs, and see which players get a boost. Bats 1-3, 10% walk rate, blasts doubles, these are the types who move up.
As a curling fan, I am so pumped there will be any curling fans for the next few weeks when they realize curling 60%+ of Olympic tv coverage
Indiana gets the #1 seed in the CFP and is rewarded by having to basically play a road game.
Make Bama drive up to cold-ass Bloomington for the holidays and play against what would be an INSANE crowd for the Hoosiers.
Junior Caminero had elite power in 2025.
You'd never know it by the narrative, but Junior Caminero hit more home runs on the road than in the extremely power-friendly park he called the home in 2025.
His power plays everywhere, and the decision-making should improve with time.
Jorge Polanco's strikeout rate significantly improved at the start of 2025 and stayed that way all season.
If you want to get pumped on Jorge Polanco and his small sample playoff doesn't do it for you, maybe this rolling K% chart will help. The 2025 version of Polanco can be a dangerous presence in the middle of the order if he keeps that 2025 trend.
2nd percentile sprint speed with 100th percentile hustle
Real chance Naylor swipes 30 bags again. Brilliant move.
Oh duh and here's the article pitcherlist.com/top-200-hitter…
That's why I get in early! Less competition for that title here in October. 😅. Also because Nick makes me.
But seriously thanks so much - means a ton coming from someone who I've been reading and learning from for over a decade.
Much appreciated!
Welp, I've peaked. This is it.
Using every bit of that 2nd percentile sprint speed to take off from 1st base and slide into our hearts.
Do you know who led the Mariners in stolen bases from Aug 1 to the end of the season?
Hint: He was 2nd on the team in steals in July with 5...in 6 total games.
It's OK to drop Jakob Marsee in your fantasy playoffs. He will still take walks (because he's highly averse to swinging the bat) and steal bases, but the rest is - at best - a question mark.
Ward is a must hold in deeper 12s for me, but I'm shallower 12 (like 3 OF), you can see what the wire has.
Gotta leave Elly in. Marsee, in shallower leagues, could be cycled out if there's something that looks helpful on the wire.
We have little reason to believe that Marsee will find that power again and while he will find a way to walk and run, that might be about it.
That's more or less what happened in 2024, too! Out of nowhere just blew up, though it was about a month earlier.
Jakob Marsee's Decision Value+ has taken a nosedive
Jakob Marsee has been amazing this far and has earned the results. You should absolutely keep holding, BUT there are some signs that an adjustment period might be coming.
How he handles it will tell us a LOT about what to expect in '26.
You're really betting on the Pirates to score multiple runs. Gonna want better odds than that.
Big head, little arms, loud voice - this is undoubtedly a Tyrannosaurus Rex
If this was a spike in K% or bad contact or something, I could see that narrative of "out of rhythm due to no PT" but he's as good as ever at the dish in terms of decisions and contact and raw power.
For what it's worth, this is almost EXACTLY how it all played out last season
