Also, don’t forget that the entire spring semester was rough mentally. I was constantly worried about getting laid off, and watched the dismantling of the organizations I was in school training to work for. I constantly had to push through the “what’s the point anymore” mindset and it was so hard.

My grad school cohort is one of the worst cohorts and while I don’t blame the professors for disliking us since the quality of our work/effort is poor, I’m also giving myself all the grace because I’ve been literally working full time alongside full time grad school.

The past year has been actually insane and I finally feel like I’m in a bigger/better headspace to ease back into the (internet) world.

I am way too uninterested in work today. I'm having very domestic fantasies. I wanna be at home crafting

My win today is going to lab early and starting on the most complicated station so that my lab partner and I aren’t waiting for other groups to work out the kinks of the station. We took our time and got finished early.

For school, we have this collaborative project involving 4 different universities and 3 different time zones and it has been chaotic to actually get stuff done.
