We’re here at the Pennsylvania State Capitol to demand our lawmakers tax Yass and other billionaires, resist cuts and make room for the needs of Pennsylvania’s working people in the state budget! #AllEyesOnYass
PA’s lawmakers need to decide on their state budget priorities: addressing working people’s needs OR letting billionaires like Jeff Yass and the ultra-rich line their pockets. #AllEyesOnYass

Trans women & femmes of color like Sylvia Rivera have always been at the forefront of the queer rights movement, but they’ve never gotten the credit they deserve. To be queer is to recognize that our liberation is bound together, that we must travel the road to freedom together.

The #AllEyesOnYass 📢 campaign is a coalition of, Pennsylvania based organizations working together to take back their political power from billionaires like Yass.

Billionaires and corporations should pay their fair share in taxes, just like working Pennsylvanians do. Instead of disastrous tariffs, #TaxTheRich! @allaboutpa.bsky.social
Graphic compares two types of messaging. ‘Say This’: ‘Publicly owned utility providers’ and ‘Non-profit utility.’ ‘Instead of This’: ‘Comparisons to other public services like schools or libraries.’ Note explains that comparisons to other public goods are not persuasive.
Graphic contrasts ‘Say This’: ‘Corporations dump/pollute/damage…’ with ‘Instead of This’: ‘Communities are impacted/exposed/at risk…’ Note emphasizes the importance of using active language to clearly name the source of harm.
Graphic suggests saying ‘Safe air to breathe’ and ‘Safe water to drink’ instead of ‘Air pollution’ and ‘Water pollution.’ A note explains that focusing on lived experiences and positive goals is more compelling.
Here are some tips for words to embrace and replace as you talk to your communities about the fight for climate justice.
Blue background with an illustration of two people talking—one wearing a hijab and another in a pink shirt. Text reads: “As the MAGA regime’s ongoing assault on our lives and our loved ones ramps up, many of us feel tongue-tied… But we must speak plainly, ensuring people understand what is true.”
Blue background with a large, diverse crowd of people standing together. Text reads: “Our freedoms are on the line: our freedom to come home safely, to say what we believe, to join together, and to decide what we do with our bodies. We must choose words that expose the motivations of the MAGA regime and generate continuous opposition.”
Blue background with text split into “Say This” (green) and “Instead of This” (red). • Say: “MAGA Regime,” “Regime by the bullies, for the billionaires” • Instead of: “The Trump government,” “The Trump administration,” “Far-right extremists” Note explains why framing matters, emphasizing terms like “bullies” and “billionaires.”
Blue background with another “Say This” (green) and “Instead of This” (red) comparison. • Say: “Fascist power grab,” “Hostile takeover of our government” • Instead of: “Constitutional crisis,” “Violation of checks and balances,” “Government overreach” Note encourages naming specific harms like “abducting our neighbors” and “taking away our freedoms.”
Our freedom to come home safe, speak our minds, join in union, and control our bodies is under attack.
We must use clear language that shows what’s at stake, calls out the MAGA agenda, and builds lasting resistance.
As the MAGA regime’s ongoing assault on our lives and our loved ones ramps up, many of us feel tongue-tied — at a loss for the words to express what is happening, let alone organize resistance to it.
Our freedoms are on the line.
