I’m originally from just outside Margate (where Cliftonville is) in Thanet. I still go down there to see my parents. It’s pretty right wing/tory/reform/elderly/Daily Mail on the whole so this is a result. Margate has had an influx of Londoners in recent years, that’s going to be a factor too IMO.
