One of my simple joys in modding BGS games is spotting devs’ joke comments in the code. Like in Skyrim, when the player becomes a werewolf, there’s a comment saying TEEN WOLF. Little things like that make me smile. keep it up, random devs. I see you and appreciate it.

NEW: I spoke to Larian boss Swen Vincke about their ambitions for their new RPG Divinity, cutting down development time, pressures from Baldur's Gate 3, why BG3 wouldn't have happened without Tencent, how Larian uses generative AI, and much more www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...
Thanks for taking the time to talk Emil it was great meeting you!
Massive thanks to @bethesdastudios.com for inviting us to the office and showing us around.
Seeing the excitement from the Bethesda team for @skyblivion.com is absolutely unreal.
Thank you❤️🔥
After spending the last ~ five years working on Skyblivion, I couldn't be more excited to see an official remaster of Oblivion.
Please don't use our years of passion as a way to fuel more negativity in gaming.
The excitement is real. See everyone in 24 hours to show off a sneak peek at 2 classic oblivion quests in all their Skyblivion glory!
Including a few new never-before-seen features we have been working on quietly.
Anyone celebrating game devs losing their jobs as a win for gamers has a messed up sense of what's wrong with the industry.
Every week I see @skyblivion.com become a fuller game and my excitement to share it with the world just can't be contained
This cover/mashup goes so hard it makes me want to spend another 150 hours playing Baldurs Gate 3
*Spoilers in the video*

After years working on this project the idea of it being finished is scary.
I expect the next 12 months to be the busiest of my life and couldn't be more excited!
We're less than a year away from the release of #Skyblivion.
See where we're at and what lies ahead: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwUi...
Borderlands 3 didn't grab me as much as the first two but with Ify as a writer I'm going to have to check this one out
Swen Vincke, director of larian games, at The Game Awards, giving a speech before handing out the game of the year award
-shows up wearing ceasefire pin
-talks about how the art and magic of games comes from the creatives and devs
-denounces the games made for quotas and in boardrooms
-takes a shot at TGA about giving proper airtime to creatives
-doesnt name drop any celebs
forget the awards, this guy wins hearts man
Swen Vincke did a wonderful speech for game of the year that I think spoke to every developer who heard it.
Games are meant to be fun and passionate, you don't get that in games made to squeeze every cent out of the players and view the creators and developers as disposable.
DC's new Creature Commandos show is more of what James Gunn does best and I couldn't be loving it more.
I'm also reminded despite him typically voicing goofier charcters Alan Tudyk can do a very intimidating villain voice.
Bluesky seems like a great place to share your passions and I don't have any bigger passion than the work I and so many others put into this incredible project.
I found the oblivion construction set when I was 10 and have been tinkering in BGS games since 😁
You can see pieces of my work in many of our developer updates:

I'm Scott
Currently developing Quests and Mechanics for Skyblivion with an amazing team of people🛠️🛠️
Any time spent not modding I'm either GMing DnD for my friends or finding a convention to travel across the world for🧙♂️🌏✈️
Hoping for good vibes and networking with fellow fans and devs.
