There was steaming hot late spring vegetable soup with wild oat and barley bread, followed by celery and chestnut bake. This was followed by a hefty blackberry and apple tart topped with greensap and maple sauce. Hot rosehip an' mint tea was served, along with pennycress an' comfrey cordial.
