New to the idea of adding Alt Text to images? This is the best thread I’ve seen explaining what and why. The basic idea is to write a brief description of any image you post. For people who can’t see the image well and need a text-based option.

Reminder that I also live in the community that relies on the Colorado River. Which is also frequently in the headlines about fear of scarcity of water. So I'm not being hyperbolic.

I would hope this is obvious to most people, but if you have a loved one who’s a picky eater (for any reason, but especially if they’re a picky eater due to autism), it is imperative that you accommodate their food needs. Especially if they’re your partner or your kid, who you signed up for loving

There's a reason why Meta's employee keylogging plans are only being deployed in the US -- per experts we spoke to, this sort of monitoring would be illegal in much of Europe, where such monitoring is a violation of worker privacy.
In the US, most states don't even require notice of surveillance.
