I've built a socioeconomic system that depends on everyone to do useful work and act ethically except the people at the top, who get unimaginable rewards for being antisocial frauds and criminals. And I think it will stand the test of time

They've grown their size so they're (at least) around California a decent amount besides SF.

He 100% is. The media is going to treat him as being the savior of the economy and an expert peace broker. I too was hoping for him to break stuff that finally made it so he couldn't wiggle out of something.

Pope: says very basic Christian beliefs, like, don't murder people and use the cross as a shield against criticism

"Traditional" Catholics, who supposedly believe the Pope is infallible: I can't believe we have such a sacrilegious Pope.

Greatest in season turnaround ever. It really feels like 3 seasons. The 6-21 start, the incredible turnaround, and then trading 2 of the teams best 3 players and doing just enough to finish the season over .500. Keeping that streak alive legitimately made this season a success to me

I'm a Clippers fan. I cannot tell you how much of this roller-coaster season has fucked with my mental health. No OT, just let me not be on a thrill ride one damn time.

Traditional Catholics: The pope is infallible and he is God's vessel on Earth

Also Traditional Catholics: No, not like that!

Not just past Jurassic Park, they recently made 3 Jurassic World about a specific velociraptor. Despite those movies making a bunch of money, it seems like they didn't have a cultural impact

Fuck yea, this dude was a former dean of my law school and taught Con Law when I went there. Somehow Hugh Hewitt was the better Con Law professor.

I'm slightly smaller than his listed height but about the same listed weight, so, God I hope I'm close enough to that Adonis. But, I know my ass would never fill out tennis shorts like him, so I know I'm not

As someone with cancer and my wife won't let me drink dirt sodas for fear it will turn into super cancer or something, this is great news for me

But is there really a substantial difference between making Gladys versus the director following it up with Resident Evil? Both are just franchise fare that is a disappointing follow-up

In the last season of Community there is a character addicted to talking up white men. I assume Doc has the same addiction and that's how he got a job after his Orlando stint

I think he's gotten tired of the TACO thing, and the only person in the whole universe, him, can survive in a bunker if China or whoever obliterate us. So who does it harm, really?

True, and maybe they'll lean into the culture war aspect. Hey, you guys worship a child molester, so here's one that the woke antifa mob is trying to cancel.

I think that's significantly different. This is very much an event film, so the opening weekend will be the benchmark and it will fall by at least 50% every weekend after

It is tracking, at the high end, to make $60mm opening weekend. That is not a profile of a film fated for a $1,000,000,000 theatrical run. Then again, the closest comp is Bohemian Rhapsody which made $900mm worldwide, so maybe it gets there, but I highly doubt it.
