Two of my zines are now available through I Love Zines, a kind of DIY cross between Etsy and a distro run by one of the hardest-working zinesters in zinedom, Billy McCall www.ilovezines.com/collections/...

As someone who was forced out of Harvard because my viewpoints were too diverse, this just confirms that Harvard wants in on the white supremacy grift on their own terms, not anyone else’s. They not like us.
Every month I use a different theme to highlight the breadth and depth of the Barnard Zine Library and how its item-level cataloging provides an easy way to discover zine content relevant for research and leisure reading. I've now combined them on a guide. guides.library.barnard.edu/weve-got-a-z...
If you haven't read @zinejam.bsky.social's work yet, you should! I use their zine spectrum zinejam.com/blog-1/10-th... to talk about zines in class all the time. (Which I'm pretty sure I told you, Lea???)
Wait, but long-distance hole punch??? Gun hits different when it's a jacked office supply!
I guess I need to Google Scholar myself lol
At least I'm not finding it in our email exchanges. Maybe IRL at ZLuC where I was in organizer haze the whole time. Wild that I know three people who got PhDs in zines in the last three years! None of them from the US.
Wow--I somehow never saw this (or just as likely don't remember because menopause) and Izabeau didn't tell me he wrote about me in his diss, which is funny bc one of the parts is about Teal Triggs not asking permission to republish zinesters' work. I don't mind, but it's an odd feeling.
You’re in charge of you! And your phone!
What are your go-to articles?
Awww. Also, is the asterisk a wildcard for…?
I think the answer to should I delete and app from my phone is usually yes regardless
Flyer for Punk Resistance: Zines & Counter Culture Activism with the "punk resistance" letters in ransom text style, as if they were cut and pasted. Saturday, April 18, 1-3pm at MSPAL Text about the panel that I can't OCR; logos for co-sponsors AADHUM, University Libraries, and College of Information
I'm moderating a panel with my ZFF @miloblue.bsky.social from the @qzap.bsky.social, @jrdarchivist.bsky.social of the DC Punk Archive and students Diya Shah & Alexa Boltaz who edit a campus zine. It's at UMD on Sat 4/18. Join us! We'll talk about important stuff that makes you feel good, not bad.
A lot of brilliant, warm, and politically admirable people use Substack, a platform that platforms Nazis. I am conflicted about reading and sharing posts from there. I know that we all compromise our values at times, so I'm not calling anyone out.
What do y'all do with Substacks you appreciate?
"It is offensive to see Barnard President Laura Rosenbury speak boldly about Charlie Kirk in The New York Times after his death while refusing to speak out against community members associated with Epstein." www.columbiaspectator.com/opinion/2026...
"The named Barnard affiliates willingly made the decision to fraternize with a known sex offender. By looking the other way and allowing them to continue their current association with Barnard, the administration affirms that affiliates can engage in morally corrupt behavior without consequence."

"[Don Fulsom] had been fired from his first radio job, at a station in Buffalo, NY, when he began the news on Easter morning by saying: 'Today, millions of Christians around the world are celebrating the alleged resurrection of Jesus Christ.'"
All religion is mythology, which is fine, but not fact.
Also, the universe is giving us one nice thing (even if he reneged on his promise to public libraries, which is very not okay), and we should just enjoy it. Mamdani's videos are already great, and now they're going to have cats in them.
Curtis Sliwa really loves cats. The Republicans are mad at him, and he's like "Cuomo is a loser,/" and "cats"!

His office is on my street! I should drop in! (Moved from Avenue B office when he switched to city council)
