Just returned home from 4 wonderful days at the Public Library Association conference in Minneapolis. #PLA2026 was amazing! President Brandy McNeil, and all the PLA board and staff deserve tremendous kudos. Highlights included Brian Stevenson, the mayor of Minneapolis and an amazing set of sessions.

The sign, while trying to do good, is hurtful to anyone who is contemplating or has actually attempted suicide. They are not cowardly, they are hurting so badly they just want out from it.

I wish the sign didn’t say “be brave”. I wish it said something like “get help you matter”.
