Yep, I'm on there, too, and thus blocked. Proud hater, at that.

Sucks to suck. Just buy a magic 8-Ball instead of your plagiarism generator, dipshits.

I love watching wire work as well. Beats a CGI Spiderman flipping about like a video game character.

The DOJ was created to increase the capacity for federal prosecutions during Reconstruction esp. those to be brought under the newly enacted KuKlux Klan Act.

Now the DOJ is being used to prosecute a storied civil rights organization whose central mission has been to expose & dismantle the Klan.

With the rise of smartphones, social media, and websites such as TMZ, any one can approach wrestlers, especially WWE, who are celebrities, but who have limited perhaps paid protection. These "fans" can become "famous" regardless if the interaction with the wrestlers are positive or negative. 2/2

I wonder if some of this is a combination of WWE culture and the rise of influencers and smart phones. WWE wrestlers still have to pay for their hotel rooms and rental cars going back decades, and fans have only simple photo cameras and video cameras. 1/2

The fan comment about "it's a WWE thing" raises interesting implications about the fan culture there relative to the rest of wrestling.

Every day food and water become scarcer in the ruins of Gaza, and Sama'a and her daughters see horrors the rest of us can only imagine on a daily basis. Please give what you can.

Thank you for answering my question, and that title sucks.

Perhaps the reason is that TKO doesn't want to pay for a hotel, where the wrestlers have a secure wing to themselves with private entries and exits? WWE wrestlers still have to book their own hotel rooms and have to pay for their own rental car.

I don't understand why wrestlers are staying at MGM Grand, which is one of the largest, most sprawling, and honestly mid-tier, resorts, as opposed as to the much quieter Fountainbleu, where they stayed last year. It's a security nightmare.

Yes, and you have no union to protect you or fight for you to have secure accommodations - meaning secure entries and exits at hotels.

It must kinda suck to be pro wrestler famous. Similar to a famous actor or musician, you get mobbed by idiots yet you’re only paid like a pro wrestler.

He wanted a competent Nazi.

Not an evil buffoon.

The Democrats rush to embrace extreme right wing activists is concerning if not surprising.

Never trust the center when it's the moderate position between you and fascism.

At this point the wrestlers know it’s part of the deal working there, they want to defend the company so much rather than get more from it then it’s on them too at this point

For some reason I keep thinking of Camille Paglia's big moment back in the early 90s. I still remember the first chapter of that stupid book, because I was so angry I stopped reading it. A Real Man doesn't need empathy is a terrible way to view the world.

I didn't know it was from the Lost people. That makes a lot of sense. I think I'd have to pay to watch the other seasons anyway, so I'll probably just skip it. There's only one character I find really interesting anyway. (And I still don't understand why everything has to be set in the USA!!)

It's called "From." MGM+it's kind of an attempt to be lovecrafty I think. But it's fairly predictable. Basically it's a bunch of Canadian actors pretending to be Americans lost in the woods and scared of monsters. It'd middling at best.

I understand and it's all right. Mystery shows that may not have a known ending are terrible in the sense that the viewer doesn't know if all these mysteries will be resolve or be left hanging like The X-Files.

I could see how it would be confusing. I was a little annoyed at myself for not putting it in quotes. It's a strange title choice. It's giving me Lost vibes. Like they have a lot of questions but very few answers and I'm not certain that the writers know what the answers are going to be in the end.

Oh my bad, From is the title of the show.

What show are you watching?

Watching the first season of From (because it's free), but I'm aggravated. When you have that many Canadian actors, with obvious Canadian accents, why make them pretend to be USA residents? Why can't they just set the God damn show in Canada? It's frustrating. Accents are always an issue with me...

Kids, there's 4 ways to do things.
The right way,
The wrong way,
The Max Power way,
and the Trump way.

Isn't the Trump way just the Max Power way?

Yeah, but slower, more expensive, and stupider.

Thinking about that time in Japan, when Nintendo was undergoing hard times, its CEO took a pay cut himself rather than layoff the companies' talented workers. That's some exceptionalism I can get behind.
