Major Education Resource Set to Shut Down This Week The federal Department of Education maintains an open access database of more than 2 million documents dating back to the 1960s. It will cease operating Wednesday due to DOGE cuts.

ERIC is scheduled to run out of money on April 23. After that date, no new documents can be added.

We just published a paper on the performance of various tests and confidence intervals for the scale coefficients in location-scale models in meta-analysis: doi.org/10.3758/s134... Overall, REML-based LRTs and profile-likelihood CIs performed best, but the number of studies typically must be large.
