Why do we still have to write self reviews. Every freaking startup is building an agent. Why aren't their agents that just look at all the company sources like GitHub, slack linear connect the dots and write something.

Looks decent on paper but will see how well it goes in the next couple of days

This is not some autonomous flow where I fire and forget. I am still the orchestrator helping with the planning phase. It's more of a structured workflow where the agent will help with research, implementation, track work progress and conductor will aid in execution of parallel worktree agents

Each worktree agent produces a plan and research file and updates the status file once it's done

Once the PR is merged, the agent can do a retrospective of our session to see where the workflow failed, where I had to steer and help out. This gets added to a lessons file. The next worktree agent will also look at the lessons file to improve the next session.

I have a worktree bootstrap prompt that will look at the status file and pick a unit of work that has deps satisfied and conflict free. The prompt also includes a workflow to include me in exploring, researching and planning the feature. Once approved, it can implement and raise a pr

Installed conductor.build yesterday. So far I like it to manage git work trees and visualize all the agents working in parallel. For the next set of features I'm working on, I'm experimenting with a shared status file which is a task list of features with dependencies and conflicts mapped out.

This year our company has exploded to almost 100+ people. So only a fraction of the company will be attending. Not sure if I will ever be doing any demo booths again but last years experience will be a memorable part of my career

Almost our whole company was attending kube con last year. We were only like 20+ people. It was intense but a great learning experience. Also got to visit London for the first time. See an Agatha Christie play.

Damn now Instagram doesn't show photos when u search for a location. It's just a map view. At one point these platforms just need to stop evolving

Still need to go to twitter at times as a lot of tech is still discussed there. But can't really tell what are bots anymore

For sure it's not as fulfilling and I'm not improving like before. Would love to go back but for current wave of startups it's ship ship ship. So embracing more AI to stay employed and finding ways to get some form of motivation out of it. Highly regulated & boring environments look more attractive

Built an autocompletion for codemirror for an SQL subset. Required custom grammar + ast parsing. With Claude code + codex reviewing I could get a very decent implementation of it in a week vs months. Had to find satisfaction from the +ve customer feedback about the final UX. Not the same but smthin

So refreshing to see this on a careers page of a company.

"Working at xxx isn't crazy. We work to live, rather than live to work. We're a small, private company with no outside funding, and we don't subscribe to the hustle ethic that is common to much of the technology industry"

So Kerala is now Keralam. Did not know that was even being considered

Feel similar while working in a company building an AI agent. My knowledge stops at using chatgpt and Claude code. So I'm trying to use ai to learn ai. Currently experimenting with notebooklm to generate podcasts so I can learn on the go Might be helpful for u

I liked madhavs role although very little

It's a bit sensationalized and formulaic but it's still kept me in my couch for 3 hours. I like that it didn't feel hifi and polished but looked pretty barbaric. I'm in no hurry to watch the sequel though.

Watched durandhar as my watched kept bugging me to watch together. She is a huge fan of the lead actor. I tend to stay away from hindi movies as I don't understand the language and I'm not really some of the cringe stuff in it. Movies was done surprisingly well.

Seems like I have to open a binder for my new borns documents already. Not a single thing or process is digital. Have to pass around referrals of clinics. I came to Germany almost 10 years ago. I can see how much India has changed in this period and how Germany has barely changed.

I kinda like the podcast style generated from notebooklm. I'm gonna see if I can create episodes for my agent-pattern-ts repo. Would be nice to explore a pattern or concept on the go.

I'll do more walking with a stroller in the coming months and anything audio is quite nice during those walks

Been wondering why do some of the podcasts I hear sound the same and have the same conversational style. After some research realized they are AI generated with notebooklm. Damn you can't tell this at all by listening to them

Started using oxcfmt in my repo and I like that it formats markdown tables. But it's a bit different from how intellij does it so still get squiggly lines

agent-patterns-ts is growing with 30+ demos so far. Even created a skill to scout for new patterns as they emerge.

I remember having a conversation with a friend like a month ago expressing his desire to move to the middle east as he felt its just way safer there and then after see the conflict in the news its safe to say, any place can feel unsafe at any moment without notice

I believe those highly regulated industries that don't adopt AI may be more appealing for the next job switch for some. Sure you need 10 approvals to install an npm package but atleast what you build is from urself.

Back to the gym again with an easier plan of 3x per week and 4 exercises per session. Gonna do it for 8 weeks before I try something harder. It's about bringing back the routine, warm up the muscle and joints while I get back to eating healthier again
