You can always work ahead on ground material and chair fly to make the most of time in an airplane. Generally those that save up and fly frequently complete goals quicker and spend less.

Why? Pilots need to start speaking up to the BS that is JFK. JFK ATC uses non standard phraseology all the time and has zero patience. LGA runs a tight ship but they are mostly respectful and professional. JFK is a bunch of children. They are the NYPD of ATC.
