Agree. Redesign from the ground up along with Aged Care and Childcare. They should all be not-for-profit and I'd be happy to have them run by government entities. Ditto hospitals and schools.

Yes, you are right, and Bob Brown seems such a gentle character. But I think the media has pushed the idea of "greens" being associated with militant proletarian forces. BLF and green bans?

A great piece by Sue Barrett...

"Grace Tame changed laws. She protected children. She gave survivors a voice when the system wanted them silent. The people who undermined her funding did not beat her. They simply made sure she could not afford to keep fighting."

“Senator Wong, what exactly are the rules?”
“It’s very simple Brian. We can’t rule in or rule out that there are rules, due to the International Rules Based Order directed to us by our ally the United States. That’s the rules”

Meet the Solar Powered Sea Slug, Costasiella kuroshimae aka The Leaf Sheep 🔋🌿
It's a super rare animal that utilises photosynthesis via kleptoplasty.
By absorbing chloroplasts from its food, it creates its own energy from light. An amazing creature that blurs the line between animal and plant! 🌱🐌

I don’t understand why @albomp.bsky.social is hesitating to reform. He’s got no opposition. Seize the day! It may never come again.
