See you in November!
My son and I share a special bond only we understand—video games. It’s our language, our world. I’m truly grateful for it.
I was so excited about WordPress Playground that I had to write a follow-up to my last post! This time, I’m sharing how to use Blueprints to automate your Playground setups!

Every Sunday, I cook fish for my family—always a different recipe. It’s our tradition, and my way of showing them how much I love them.
Dad’s in charge of the kitchen on weekends, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

At #DevFestPuraVida 2024! A great event to learn, meet amazing people, and explore Google technologies. Excited to see what the day brings! #DevFest #TechCostaRica
Yesterday, I attended a talk about cloud computing and AI; it was exciting. One thing I’ve noticed is that everyone uses AI but is afraid to admit it for fear of losing their job, and there’s also a lack of regulation by governments, especially in Latin America.

I just updated to WordPress 6.7, and I love the new Zoom-Out View in the editor! It makes organizing blocks so much easier. Plus, I’ve been relying on the Command Palette more lately—it’s such a game-changer for speeding up workflows.
What’s your favorite feature in 6.7?
Screenshot showing the Bluesky panel in the WP sidebar, with options to enable/disable sharing to Bluesky and writing a custom message, and showing which account the post will be shared to.
And v1 of the sidebar UX. It's my bedtime now but I'll get this finished tomorrow and wrap it up in a zip for anyone who would like to test it!
I did exactly the same!
Happy Monday!
Is starting to look a lot like Xmas!
I like it a lot, easy to use, GraphQL ready, and it has a set of utilities that work really well with Astro.
Headless with DatoCMS 😅
🙋♂️ Building and learning with AstroJS my personal website.
Yesterday, I used Block Bindings on a client site, and I have to say—this feature is incredible. Using register_block_bindings_source() made connecting dynamic content super easy.
Yes, Love those ones!
My kind of Fridays!
👋🏻 Hola.
For React, I keep the main logic in classes separate from React-specific code. I wrap it in functional components when needed, so the core code doesn’t depend on React. Even though React favors functional components, classes give the structure and stability we need for long-term projects.
Yes, I did take a few steps to handle quirks in ES classes. We kept the class structure clear and avoided changing prototypes, which helped with stability. Testing was also key, especially for inherited methods.
Classes over Functional Components.
