The leaked memos confirm what we all knew: Big Oil effectively has the conservative Justices on retainer. This casts a disturbing pall over future cases affecting oil industry interests, including, most notably, Suncor.

As Trump’s lies get more egregious (and repetitive) I have at least noticed fewer mouth-breathing bootlickers willing to defend him in my comments.
And the administration is leaking about how he’s hurting negotiations and how they’re keeping him on the sidelines.
I’ll call that progress.
BREAKING: A Closer Look at the King of Planets. 🪐🛰️
NASA has just released a new perspective of Jupiter so sharp it’s almost impossible to comprehend. Those intricate, marble-like swirls aren't just clouds—they are colossal storms, many of which could swallow Earth whole. 🌍🌪️

The best. He put up with me for nearly 50 years. My mom said he was a saint.
And chicken! I cannot believe the price of chicken in my usually cheap local IGA
Jeffries on Kash Patel: "We have to stop putting all the blame on the people who nominated this incompetent, toxic, malignant individual. What about the people who confirmed him? It's extraordinary to me that Senate Republican confirmed people like Noem, Bondi, Hegseth, RFK Jr, and Patel."
My psychology professor husband would yell at the TV when this kind of misuse of IQ erupted. (Also, misuse of fewer and less, and theory and hypothesis TBH)
When I was choosing a college major, my dad said "don't be an engineer, women engineers are treated rotten". I ended up in engineering for 3 years and whoo-boy he was right. But I treated them like stupid teenagers and after a while they just left me alone.
A small rectangular garden is bordered by an asphalt driveway to the right, two concrete walks to the top and left, and a bit of concrete step at the bottom. About 2/3 of the space is filled with delicate thread-like leaves growing on short stems. At the top right are some spiky iris leaves and the emerging reddish stems topped with green leaves of a peony. The lower third is mostly empty soil with a few brown weeds.
This patch was a couple of coreopsis and rudbeckia, three salvia and a very old peony from our former house (so >30 years old). Iris and creeping phlox were added later. That bare spot was the home to the rudbeckia- there are a few scattered about but not where I put them. The rest is coreopsis. 🌱
You beat me to it. Apparently everyone beat me to it.

Evolution turned dinosaurs into chickens, and I just turned chickens into dinner. Circle of life, just crispier.
I never had rabbits until last year, and the voles have only been a problem since the neighbor with a dozen cats moved away. Deer mostly eat euonymus. Unfortunately, they don’t eat it all the way to the ground, which I would really prefer. “Something” ate all my echinacea, which was sad.
It’s vying with equally ancient coreopsis to see which gets to hold a tiny patch of earth. Coreopsis has already vanquished three salvia plants and is growing up through the creeping phlox.
I stopped at voles. I can only plant stinky things that they don’t like. I’ve lost everything from 8 inch tall tomato plants to a three year-old apple tree. Anything that costs more than a few dollars gets planted in a hardware cloth cage. It’s exhausting.
Lots of mine didn’t, including some 20+ year-old Rudbeckia that I thought could live through anything. Asian pear trees are in bloom though, but I’m not holding out much hope for them surviving the next few mornings.

“I observe daily, folks on-air and in print, acting like the Trump's dysfunction is some recent phenomena - and I can tell you, with first hand knowledge, it has been a part of his life for decades.”
We once rented from a new owner who angered the previous tenant by evicting him. Our toilet was plugged with bicycle parts.
For starters, it’s apparently well-known in among insiders that he’s unable to read. See @noelcaslercomedy.bsky.social
Reminds me of when a neighbor said if our baseball went into his yard one more time he would take it to the police station. Our mom said, you go ahead and do that and see what they say.😁
OK, you win. Time to get up and do some actual stuff.
