What if you did all of the above but rented your condo instead ?! :-)

Where were you ordained ? I came to know and love Holy Cross Faith Memorial in Pawleys Island this year through a discernment process that didn’t yield a call to be their associate but still showed me a wonderful parish. Your church was probably nearby.
It’s National Library Week, so support your fucking libraries people. Use them, fight for their funding, fight for your librarians. Don’t let your most reliable third space go to waste.
Totally agree on that !
Why not, if you do it with the intention of the PCUSA? They believe pastors can confirm and ordain deacons and ruling elders. You’re clearly a pastor. So long as you weren’t doing it w the intention of the TEC rites or saying that they’d be considered episcopally confirmed/received?
Agreed. But it’s out there somewhere in the episcosphere. Not sure if he learned it at Baby Bishops School or where, but got the impression it was during the early days of his episcopate.
My Bp said ordination is to the order and consecration is to the particular episcopal ministry which you’ve been called—unlike the other two orders you are only a Bishop when selected for a particular episcopal role. Seems a stretch but he’s a relatively “young” bishop and somebody told him that. 🤔
Seems like you also attracted some clergy. My now-retired ordaining bishop, Jim Mathes, and his wife moved up to BC and are now right across the water from you at St Hilda’s.

Preparing to teach a primer in Anglican History on Sunday, and it's making it even more funny that people are like, "how DARE the Pope put his thumb on matters of politics?!" ⚓
None of these guys had a grandma with an “if you want peace work for justice” bumper sticker on the car she only drove to the adoration chapel and it shows.
This layover at BNA en route to SAN for Episcopal Communicators is so long I think I qualify as a Tennessee resident now … :-).

wWonderful and blessed final Sunday as rector in my parish. Baptized 2 at the 8:00 and had a lovely farewell liturgy at the 10 followed by a divine reception. ⚓️ They’re sending me off with plenty of Clemson swag for my new call as Assoc R for campus and parish ministry at Holy Trinity Clemson. 🐅🐅🐾🐾
a criminal conviction isn’t required to say someone does not have the moral character to run for office and i don’t understand why this needs to be said over and over and over again.

How about ChurchNext?
I've run out of responses.
A functioning country would have already handed out life sentences so far down the line of succession that some of the verdicts would be the first time you ever heard their names.

Holy Trinity, Clemson SC to be assoc for campus and parish ministry
I know this isn’t worthy of concern given the state of the world, but having a parish admin go out on an unexpected open-ended sick leave the week before Holy Week when my last day as Rector is 2 Easter is not easing my exit from the parish … prayers for J, and for me, and our poor Sr Warden! ⚓️
Please say more …
Happy Easter!
Ditto on must be more than 15!

The biggest story in the world right now is that the president of the United States is a demented old man who takes pleasure in torturing and killing people and is committing crimes with impunity. And yet most legacy media outlets are too cowardly to tell it like it is.

That’s how my parish does it. We had an egg dyeing party yesterday.
