Widebeam boat on Grand Union Canal in the sunshine

We're certainly seeing that Spring sunshine now. Makes days on the water that bit more enjoyable. On our trips you have the opportunity to travel North through Hemel Hempstead or South towards Watford. We offer half & full day trips throughout the year

Human chromosomes, some of which look a bit like socks, and an extra 21st chromosome, as occurs in Down syndrome

Human chromosomes, some of which look a bit like socks, and an extra 21st chromosome, as occurs in Down syndrome

Tomorrow is #WorldDownSyndromeDay! The 21st day of the 3rd month, aa people with Down syndrome have 3 copies of chromosome 21 instead of 2. We wear “lots of socks” to celebrate. Bright, funky, mismatched (not odd!), because different is good, and because chromosomes look a bit like socks 😊
