White folks are really just mad that fascism in America seems to effect them now. They were fine when they were the beneficiaries of it. They want to go back to being the beneficiaries of it.

Maybe this is why:

:: shrugs :: no idea. Maybe because it’s Sunday ahead of Holy Week? Maybe to recall Trump’s previous peace deal? Maybe Trump literally just saw it?

Honestly unclear.

It's very strange wording. Was there a stated reason why Trump posted it today, or just random?

27 minutes ago 12 1 4 0

Does it suggest Trump is a Christian (by Graham's definition)? I think it suggests that Graham is pushing Trump to, you know, take care of a few things.

Today, we're excited to introduce Attie, currently as an invite-only closed beta. Attie is the first agentic social app on atproto. It's something completely new — an experiment in making building on the protocol more accessible.

Al has begun to reshape every part of our digital experience. I keep coming back to Kranzberg's first law of technology: "Technology is neither good nor bad; nor is it neutral. " Its impact depends on how it's used, by whom, and for what.
Bluesky's mission is to develop and drive large-scale adoption of technologies for open and decentralized public conversation. I wrote that into our founding charter because I believe the internet should be built to serve the people who use it.
Right now, Al is undermining human agency at the same time it's enhancing it. The proliferation of low-quality Al-generated content is making public social networks noisier and less trustworthy at a time when we need accurate information more than ever. The signal is getting harder to find exactly when it matters most.
The major platforms aren't trying to fix this problem. They're using Al to increase the time users spend on-platform, to harvest training data, and to shape what users see and believe through systems they can't inspect and didn't choose. We think Al should serve people. not platforms. An open protocol puts this power directly in users' hands. You can use it to build your own feeds, create software that works the way you want it to, and find signal in the noise.

As a small publisher whose professional life has already been disrupted multiple times by the avarice, caprice & sheer idiocy of the tech industry, I can't tell you how excited i am to learn that I'll likely have to decamp to yet another online space soon if I want to scrape a living

Cheers Jay!

Who remembers THIS Commercial from the 70's??

I remember it and it’s shameful where they appropriated indigenous everything for their campaign, pretty sure they could’ve found actual NDNs to do it . The message was good but faking indigeneity is wrong everytime.

We officially beat the last No Kings numbers in Oklahoma!

Working on the final count for Oklahoma No Kings 3! At least 14,045, expected to go higher.

Expect these numbers to change while I get accurate counts. I will make a note when it is finalized.

thoughts on today:

1) the protests are good, actually

2) you should go to one of you can

3) it will do you good to see how many other people also hate this guy

4) you might meet people who you can organize with

5) there are more of us than there are of them

6) we are going to win

I would ask if he were still capable of practicing medicine at his age, if he's eating properly and exercising.

Then, to see if he'll stick around the practice long enough to be useful, I'd ask if he were putting children or grandkids through medical school.

Godhead and opiate hysteria is their focus.

Who Treats Spondyloarthritis Better?

In data collected from physicians and patients in U.S. and 5 European countries, American patients reported a greater symptom burden on average after treatment had begun, and agreed less often w/their physicians regarding satisfaction w/therapy.
