I had a heads up, I lived Memphis from 2019 to 2024, and all the moves I saw in local government and wider, was eerily similar to what I am seeing now. The only difference is the GOP machine for all its evil, is incredibly organised. Reform is still a relatively new party.

The Gerrymandering part, I wasn’t aware of all the facts, that was my mistake and I am happy to make that correction.
Following on from my post earlier, I was not aware that Gerrymandering can and does sometimes occur in the UK, I am happy to make that correction.
The point I was trying to make was that we don’t see it, really to the same extreme you see in the US with its hideously deformed districts.
Thank you for pointing that out about the Gerrymandering, I was not aware that it did happen in here in the UK, that was my mistake and I own that.
What I meant was, we don’t really see the dramatically deformed districts as you can find in the US for example.
