If that's the case, then he's not qualified to sit on the Supreme Court. Nor is he qualified to be a lawyer. Lawyers are taught to examine the constellation of possibilities of an action or ruling.

Deporting someone is within his constitutional authority. Even rendition is.

And, thanks to John Roberts and the SCOTUS rightwing, Donald Trump would have absolute immunity against any kind of criminal liability or prosecution because he did it under the umbrella of his "core constitutional authority".

Take a look at the Dow and the S&P. Both of them went up precipitously at least 10 minutes before Trump made his 90 day pause announcement. That means investors knew Trump was going to pause before it even happened.
