I think people who care about the planet and the climate should try to eat less beef, but I also try really hard not to sound scoldy or preachy about it. I save my scoldiness and preachiness for infuriating shit like this:

While I’m still a 100% @transitionshow.bsky.social OG Fan, I’m really enjoying @richard.wickedproblems.earth Wicked Climate of late - I really appreciate the exploration of the political economy of various forms of climate tech. This is a really nice example.
Even if global warming were not an existential threat, the transition to renewables and the electrification of heat and transport should still be a global priority for governments with any sense.
It is remarkable how humans observe our changing climate and the extreme wild fires and droughts and collapsing ecosystems and the first thought is:
“LET’S BURN MORE STUFF!”
Nuclear fusion is already beating nuclear fission, despite the closest plant being 93 million miles away.

Someone please tell the fossil fuel loving recalcitrants in the LNP and Labor; like Murray Watt, Roger Cook, Anthony Albanese…
We cannot afford more toxic, climate destroying fossil methane gas and coal.
Stop the madness.
