Today on RockM+ I took a look at what issue I see as Mizzou's biggest heading down the stretch. 20 minutes of film breakdown + lots of data.
Threw a reliable, data-driven bracket projection in for good measure.
It's March and if you're not subscribed, why not?
Fresh Bracket Projection up on RockM+. Did Mizzou inch over the threshold into protected seed territory after their thrilling Quad 1 win against Alabama?? That question has an answer.
Just did a little looking on this and it appears 15-16 games is typically right.
I don't know the exact date of total phasing out. I do know Bart Torvik recently said that his are completely gone at this point.
Every system bakes priors in. Ken Pomeroy and Bart Torvik remove them completely. BPI quite apparently doesn't.
Easy. Per KP season movement (+/- preseason):
UCSD: 130->40
Mizzou: 52->12
St. Mary's: 34->20
Louisville: 64->25
New Mexico: 62->39
Vanderbilt: 95->47
Average: +42 spots
--
Baylor: 11->30
UNC: 15->45
Cincy: 17->53
Kansas: 7->24
UConn: 6->36
Pitt: 37->52
Average: -24.5 spots
Where they started the year in the given ranking.

It was a frustrating week on the court for the Mizzou Tigers. Interested in seeing where the 0-2 mark left them in the seeding conversation using firmly established precedence instead of silly notifications or C+P?
