A pile of colourful print designs
Sometimes being a one woman creative business isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Today has been one of those days where I haven’t sold anything in my online shop.
Have a look at my shop and please repost to spread the word. Thanks.

Twinings tea range including Little Lift, Pause, Peace, Quiet Mind, Reset.
This caught my eye in Sainsbury's. Twinings may as well go the whole hog and launch some "Please make everything stop and go away" tea.
What did Terrance Dicks make of the sex in Lady Chatterley’s Lover? I’m glad you asked. 0tralala.blogspot.com/2026/04/a-ri...

It’s close to my heart.
David Whitaker and June Barry.
Cover design of David Whitaker in an Exciting Adventure with Television.
Today, we're remembering Doctor Who script editor David Whitaker, born on this day in 1928. Here he is with his wife Joan Barry. We were proud to publish @0tralala.bsky.social's intimate biography of David back in 2023 and a new printing will be released next month. Order now from tenacrebooks.co.uk
I’m watching a Birmingham Bullring promo film from 1964 and it’s a joy: “Shopping in the Bullring Centre is a gay adventure!” narrates a sprightly sounding Richard Baker.
Started watching Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines this evening. I hope I’m not giving too much away by saying that they didn’t stop the pigeon in the first episode, but I’m looking forward to seeing how things unfold over the series.
It’s so quiet on here ☹️
I don’t know how to grow the account. It’s 1/10th the size of my X account, which itself lost about 500 followers with the Xodus.
Do I have to sleep with people for follows?
Stepping out on the town
The social whirl goes round and round
The rich are up, the poor are down
You rang, M'Lord?
Vital addition to the kitchen in today's post. What else but a Jeanne Dielman fridge magnet!
This is a lovely thread. Thanks so much for sharing.

A screenshot of the script of Marco Polo episode 1, in which ‘Doctor Who locks the ship’ is badly printed so it looks like ‘Doctor Who looks the shit’.

I'm shocked that you don't take your Marco Polo CD on holiday with you! Hope you're having a good time.
Should be with you imminently. Let me know if you have any problems accessing them.
I have the ones from the audio release. I’ll drop you an email.
New on my blog, just for fun: everything I know and don't know about episode 4 of The Daleks' Masterplan: The Traitors.

They’ve gone back to all the original elements, and Richard Latto’s involved, so fingers crossed.
The upcoming blu-ray will reveal all. I’m quite looking forward to watching it again.
I'm sure a little old lady pulled out some mistletoe and kissed him for one of the Xmas specials.
He does.
Terrance Dicks.
Today, we're remembering prolific writer Terrance Dicks, born on this day in 1935 and an inspiration to generations of readers and TV viewers. Later this year, we'll be publishing Terrance's first authorised biography, written by @0tralala.bsky.social.
Thanks Al!
I've just had a chance to check, and it seems there was a 5-second fault on the original tape. (Whether it occurred after the initial TX isn't mentioned.) It's nice they did an edit instead of ditching the episode from the repeats, though.
They should have got Shirley involved.
Shirley loves The Sound of Music but as far as she's concerned it ends with the wedding.
