If you think you can ignore politics then you are privileged. Maybe you should use that privilege to stand up for others. I know it’s rough and exhausting but they want people to be exhausted and give up so this kinda thing can be normalized. Don’t let them!
It’s tough to ignore things in the world even if it’s overwhelming. I feel like if you’re able to ignore it all you’re definitely a privileged person. I know so many of us need to take breaks for our mental health but also I think those who want to oppress us are hoping that we choose to ignore.
