So this still feels nice, but at the same time I'm going to rest my hand for a few days so I can draw again hehe :D

and I was itching to draw (wow), so I ended up using the mouse to draw, and it made me feel super nostalgic when I first drew my digital art with a mouse, more than a decade ago.

I only used a mouse to draw this time, since I ended up scratching my hand too hard, which gave me some very bad eczema rashes :( So closing my hand to hold a pen isn't really good,

Allowing myself to become a beginner again is helping me a lot get through my personal art slump ✨-

I’m also glad I pushed myself to cut my painting time into less now since I realized that I tend to paint slowly if I know I still have lots of time, so this pressured me in a good way (I panicked LOL) but I’m happy I got to finish this,-

Its day 5 of me doing these studies consistently and I decided to slice my sweet timer of painting, from an hour to a less, into 30 mins.

It’s been awhile since I painted studies in 30 mins-

Felt very rough and tired after doing 3 sketches consistently 😭 and somehow I read about being productive for days will make you crashout the next 🥺 WHY IS THAT REAL but yeh so I took it slow this time just to not kill the momentum

I think this is also the time where my rest is over and its time to LOCK IN NOT GIVE UP BELIEVE IN MYSELF AGAIN

The goal of finishing a number of paintings will be a secret HAHAHA just so I can be consistent with it so yeh 🥹 time to hope for the best, believe in myself once again, and assure that I can do this, because I can and I’ll always will.

I’m just very happy that I finally got 3 days in for being consistent with the daily paintings and that is huge for me. I won’t reveal my goal yet besides wanting to improve.

but that comes from a place of fear of failing so I’m allowing myself to make mistakes, be a beginner again, be pressured, figure things out again. It’s okay, I got this.

I’ll chop down the time of painting into 30 minutes just to get back to the groove of how I do things before. I need to be strict with myself on this despite me not wanting to do it LOL

I’m back to doing studies after for not doing them for a long time. And since it’s been awhile, I’ve gotten quite rusty with doing them 😭 So for the first batch of sketches I’m doing, I’m just going to spend an hour or less doing them just to get going and once I’m used to it.
