I'd be perfectly thrilled to receive a dictionary for #Christmas! I've not owned a physical dictionary since I was very young. I made use of it on a daily basis, though, even if it was just to open to a random page to try to find words I'd never heard of before.

1. Gatsby is meant to be the main character, but doesn't feel as if he is. He's kind of too much in the background for the first part. Nick, the narrator who more seems the main character, is boring! 2. There's a lot of incredibly detailed description - but much of it is insignificant to the story.

Swimming is such a fantastic thing. I love being in the water, and it's a great way for me to exercise because it's so low impact.

For music, I love a massive range. Broadway, Pop, Punk, Classical, Rock, Metal... even a little bit of Country. So very all over the board there. For books, I'm really also all over the place, and like you, feel characters & dialogue matter! The 1 book I ever found intolerable was The Great Gatsby.🫠

The difference really isn't given the consideration it's due. I have many introverted friends, but a lot of them are actually quite outgoing and make friends rapidly when their social batteries are charged! I envy that. 😊
