This mission has been so wonderful!
Your President is a complete nutcase.
It surprises me that the Americans are not in open revolt against their horror of a President.
Special thanks to BBC Radio 4 Today for such a substantial and engrossing piece on #ArtemisII, great reporting. #radio4today #r4today
The Orion capsule on the left, the crescent moon next to it, and the much smaller crescent earth next to it.
Holy wow.
Artemis is about to go behind the moon from our POV so that's Earth as it starts to slide behind the moon from the space capsule's POV!
The far side of the Moon from Artemis II
So amazing seeing the far side of the #Moon #ArtemisII 🔭 This is #History in realtime
#Artemis II astronaut Reid Wiseman’s wife Carroll was taken by cancer a few years ago. Just now, as the crew broke the record for furthest human journey from Earth, he asked for a lunar feature to be named after her. The crew gave him a zero-g group hug and honestly I’m getting a bit emotional here.
The Artemis II mission has been everything I could have wished for in humanity's return to the Moon, and more. #ArtemisII #Moon
Three comments:
1. This is a Sun style headline - it isn’t a “payout” it is compensation for serious harm done while at work.
2. I feel some want it both ways. Saying violence is not the child’s fault rather ignores the problem. A violent child should not be in a mainstream school. /1
A great set of photos from NASA for the Artemis II mission, including beautiful shots of the launch. www.flickr.com/photos/nasah... #NASA #ArtemisII

Got a really strong feeling of déjà vu, again.
Time Ram changes Doctor Who forever as we take Peter Davison’s ‘Four to Doomsday’ and re-adapt for Paul McGann! We also answer some vital questions along the way. How does the Doctor age? Velvet jackets on and let’s space walk like it’s 1996. Or 1982. One of them.

Lucky me to be in Southampton yesterday for the reopening of its Gallery! Fab show by Southampton’s own Emma Richardson juxtaposed with city’s own historic collection; I will be speaking in Sept about two 19th cent paintings not on display, which, in my view, speak to themes explored by Richardson
The news we’ve all been waiting for!
Today's conundrum : the difference between something being insidiously invidious and something being invidiously insidious. #tricky

You refer to Twister as "a young man's game."

I know in this new and happy age everyone is looking at their phones while they walk around, but yesterday I happened to see someone using two phones at the same time as they were walking round the shops. A glimpse of the future perhaps.
Reading a book on geography entitled, "Longitude and Lassitude". It's ok but not sure I have the energy to go far with it.
Today’s adventure in law has been about learning how in this new and happy age, we can still send faxes, albeit using email. I have been told, and have the email to prove it, that the answer to one of my questions was “fax-specific”.
One of the trickiest things to do I always think is to take a compliment well. Generally, the best thing to do is simply say “Thank you” in a sincerely appreciative way.
