I don't usually have app ideas because most my issues are already solved.
But did this hackathon to make a meal planning app that my family would want to use.
Cross platform, import any recipe, groceries, meals, etc.
Didn't win the hackathon but I think the app isn't half bad 🤷

At that point you just gotta delete them all and start over with a clean slate. Easy to be inbox zero if you delete every email without responding 😅

A feedback/forum post helper
And a few actual games

And I’m sure I’ll think of some more!

Definitely AI tools. Cursor is pretty nice a majority of the time. I also bounce ideas off Claude, ChatGPT, etc all the time

Updated my side project last week 👍 Fairly painless!
Also adopted Expo Video which seems to be work well. Very interesting API too.

Looks like a lot of devs are coming over!
What’s everyone working on?

Extremely niche technical media issue today: In media there are graphics based subtitles that can be positioned and scaled to a canvas separate from the video size. The subtitles can still be outside that canvas 🙃. Something most people would never have to think about 🤷‍♀️

I’m mostly building out the Apple apps for Plex and building out our player stack as well 👍
