Decided to organize my sketchbook a little bit by color-coding it. Deep gold tabs are Undertale/UTMV, blue tabs are Rain World, red-orange tabs are CotL, purple tabs are MLP, and pale yellow tabs are miscellaneous. Thought I had a lot more pages left but s'all good, I have more

+ Spiders are often crevice-dwellers so they probably adapted really well to the Underground, but not so much in wide open spaces like Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, etc; the micro-Froggit in the Ruins could be hinting at a whole other miniature city in there

YO THAT'D BE AWESOME??? It would make so much sense if spiders used to be way more common throughout the Underground, and still are in some regions we haven't seen yet, but in these particular areas they got cut off by temperature and developed new, distinct subcultures from that starting point

also this is terminally skeleton-brained and they aren't the ONLY ones I'm focusing on here but like... skeletons as a symbol of death. and what that means in different cultures. more importantly, what that means for how they might be connected to GHOSTS. who POSSESS THINGS to make their bodies!!!!
