Good. More and more parents and educators and boards are starting to wake up. It’s one of the silver linings in the over-the-top AI push. May these waves build into a tsunami against overreaching edtech.

We must resist the shallow temptation of a vacant and hollow pluralism. We, in America and more broadly the West, have for the past half century resisted defining national cultures in the name of inclusivity. But inclusion into what?
The manifesto makes a straightforward case that government and Silicon Valley power must be fused in order to defend Western values - which are superior to others - with hard rather than soft power. For many, this sounds like techno-fascism.

I teach in a European business school far more pluralistic than it's US cousins and I have had multiple masters students (who have typically also done a bachelor's at the same school) tell me my class is the first time they've encountered teaching or material even vaguely critical of capitalism.
